Inside Sales Support Opportunity Summary: Inside Sales Support is responsible for supporting the sales team by estimating and quoting potential sales, coordinating internal efforts to produce the products sold, and monitoring post-sale activity to project completion. Job Duties: Supports sales staff as needed to develop estimates, quotations, product ship dates, and service labor requirements. Research possible sales avenues of the Bid/Spec market including Dodge Reports, Reed Construction Data, Construction Engineering Firms, Municipal bids, etc. Researching, vetting, qualifying, prioritizing sales/customer leads, and documenting findings in the CRM system. Negotiates and purchases products not sourced through the parts department. Handles inbound sales lead calls forwarding them to the appropriate salesperson to convert calls into sales. Order and track products from the manufacturer to the shop location. Coordinates activity between vendors and between service, parts, and sales departments to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services needed to fulfill a customer order. Assists parts department to procure items outside of their area of expertise. Enters information into the system to capture costs and progress on sales projects and provides timely and accurate reports of these measurements of performance and progress. Assures critical milestones associated with the project are met and maintains the related files for each transaction. Interfaces with the sales team to clarify project scope and deliverables for each project assigned. Monitors the sales department's inventory to maximize availability. Coordinates/supports any post-sales activity including pre-delivery documents, delivery, installation/application review, start-up/commissioning, and invoicing, as assigned. Work Experience & Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related sales experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
