As a Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer, you will report to the Senior Manager of Engineering and contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of technology solutions that help our partners achieve their objectives. Responsibilities & Qualifications Who you are:You are passionate about efficiencyYou are eager to share your wisdom with othersYou are excited for new challenges and new skillsYou are creative and willing to experimentYou want to understand other people's perspectivesWhat you'll do:Develop automated test scripts for features, defects, integrations, and regression testsAddress unique challengesInfluence a culture of collaboration focused on continuous improvement and increased team performanceDevelop test plans, test cases and scenariosDetermine whether technologies are performing according to specificationsLearn functional and non-functional requirements to validate acceptance criteriaCollaborate with scrum teams in an Agile environmentIdentify, analyze, and document defects and impactsAssist with user acceptance activitiesWork with several technologies from front-end UI to back-end servicesBe an advocate for quality products and servicesRequired qualifications:At least two years of related work experience for the Test Engineer level; at least four years of related work experience for the Senior Test Engineer level or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the jobBachelor's degree in a related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the jobBonus points for:Knowledge of and/or experience with Insurance, Finance, or Healthcare Strong problem solving skillsExperience with TestCafe with JavaScriptExperience in object-oriented programming languages and scripting languages (preferably JavaScript)Experience working in an Agile Scrum environmentKnowledge of front-end test automation (e.g., Selenium, TestCafe, Cypress)Knowledge of JIRA, and Azure DevOpsKnowledge of BDD and DevOps practicesKnowledge of API testing RESTful services in JSON and XMLExcellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across business and IT teamsTeam-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a group setting while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
