Description:

Nurse Practitioner needed in Arizona for General Surgery (Wound Care) coverage. Must be Board Certified, have current DEA, and AZ state license. Shifts will be 1-3 days per week to start, may transition into General Surgery in the future. Will see adult patients. Responsible for overseeing wound care specialty nurses. Assessing what areas of the patient's body are affected by wounds. Disinfecting cuts and open sores. Prescribing medications and treatments to prevent infections. Educating patients on how to care for their wounds at home. You may also provide care to patients with fractures, broken bones, ulcers, chronic injuries. Support staff includes MD, CRNA, 2 RNs.
