Job Title : Manufacturing Information Technology Professional Location : Sterling Heights, MI Wage Range: $50-55/hr Job Number: 24-00939 Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Information Technology Professional to support their Manufacturing Operations team from their Sterling Heights, MI facility. About the Role Candidate should possess a hands-on IT technical background as well as an understanding of manufacturing execution and related business processes. Knowledge of Computer Aided Process Planning and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) especially iBaseT Solumina. General knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems. Ability to analyze and diagnose the root cause of bugs or issues within software systems. This goes beyond simply documenting trouble tickets. Write and understand queries written in Structured Query Language (SQL). Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS. Maintain and develop J2EE applications that support manufacturing operations. Ability to understand and author solutions using Java, SQL, JSP, MVC and others. General Understanding of our plant capabilities. Support proposal development on Manufacturing related IT solutions. Support manufacturing and divisional process improvement initiatives. Qualifications Sought Undergraduate degree in Engineering/ IT related fields (or equivalent) is required; additional graduate-level degree and relevant work experience a plus.
